Zones

One trade, one zone, one client. Here's what a zone is.

This is the thing no other agency offers. We sell a fixed patch of about 60,000 households, drawn from Census data, with its postcode districts and towns written into your order, to one installer per trade. While it's yours, we turn your competitors away.

Drawn from doors, not distance

Every zone is a contiguous group of postcode districts that add up to roughly 60,000 households. In a city that's three or four districts and a 15-minute drive; in the countryside it's a market town and its villages. Same addressable market either way.

Fixed, named, mapped

Zones don't move. Each has an id, a map and a list of its districts and towns. Your order shows exactly what you're buying, and the seller can tell you which neighbouring zones are open.

The towns in your zone are the ones we work on

The 40 questions we measure name your towns. The area pages we write are for your towns. Exclusivity, measurement and content all run off the same list.

How many zones are there?

399

zones across England and Wales

61

in Greater London

22

in Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire's coast

5

in Mid Wales and the Marches

Each zone is sold once per trade lane (domestic solar and battery; heat pumps; EV chargers; commercial energy; more lanes as we add trades). Rural zones are smaller, so they come as an adjacent pair for the single-zone price. We won't sell you a zone more than about 45 minutes from your base.

Drive further than one zone?

Add the next one at 20% off. Most installers who cover two market towns, or half of a city, take two or three zones. A second trade in the same zone is also an extra at 20% off.

Is my zone free?

Ask. We'll tell you which zones are open in your trade and hold the one named in your audit for 14 days after we send it.
