Your website stays yours

"Do I have to give you my login?" No.

Three ways for the pages to go live. You pick one on the onboarding call, and you can change it later.

Route 1 · Recommended

A subdomain we host

We build your new pages at an address like solar.yourbusiness.co.uk, on hosting we run. Your web person adds one DNS record, the same kind of thing they'd do to set up email. We never need access to your website; your theme, plugins, checkout and existing pages are untouched. If anything ever went wrong on our subdomain, your main site carries on. Works with any site, however old.

Route 2

Inside your website

You create a limited editor login for us, never the owner account. An Editor physically cannot install, update or configure plugins or themes, change settings or touch code. We add new pages only, back up before every publish, keep a log you can see, and delete the login within seven days if you ever leave. Best on WordPress and Webflow; Wix allows posts but not new pages, so Wix sites use Route 1 for area pages.

Route 3

Your web person publishes

We send a ready-to-paste pack for each page: text, images, title, exact address, and a one-page how-to for your platform. They paste it in; we check it's live within a day. The "you publish" price applies.

Does a subdomain actually count?

Yes. Google and the AI tools treat solar.yourbusiness.co.uk as part of your business: same domain, same name, address and phone on every page, linked to and from your main site. Many large companies run their blogs and help centres this way.

Your Google Business Profile

You add us as a Manager, not Owner. A Manager can post updates, reply to reviews and complete the profile, but cannot remove you, delete the listing or transfer it. We draft every review reply for your approval.

What we will never do

Ask for your personal password or the owner's login to anything. Install, change or remove plugins, themes, code, domain settings, hosting or payment settings. Publish anything you haven't approved. Touch your customer data (our access is set up so we can't see it). Keep any login after you leave. Our professional indemnity and cyber insurance cover this work, and the client agreement sets out exactly what we can and cannot touch.

The service is built so the worst thing we could do to your website is add a page you've already approved.
